Literature Text

Sometimes I wish I lived in a glass room.
Soundproof inside and outside.
Each panel a different color and shade.
The walls transparent then darker across until opaque.
A ceiling different than the sides,
All sight from within appears monochrome.

If you could imagine any of that, then I'd gladly welcome you in.
Looking up I can know of a sky that is mine.
Waking and sleeping to an unique morning, midnight, sun and moon.
Gazing within this peace loosens the noose etched around my brain.
Despite any piece of decline I taste, this place is a safeguard to cherish.
Hope and faith becoming enough, compared to any vice.

Life in silence unfolds for the wary.
Will I always seek refuge in this lonesome cradle?
What is it that keeps me motivated to stay here?
Was it the isolation to see what makes a man into a beast?
Why does the room clear up as soon as the dream completes?
Well the story up until now, these silent walls reflect it well.

If you could imagine...no.
If you wish to join, I'd be thrilled to let you in.
Just promise me you won't speak for a second.
I want to cherish the moment I finally find someone,
To share this cruel world with,
Experiencing its beautiful solace.
Started this the night before on line paper, thought I should do that more often instead of turning on the computer.
Finished it up tonight while thinking it over throughout the day unconsciously and consciously.

Around the last finishes to it was listening to this song.
Pretty amazing artist, helps my insomnia, I have to wake up in 6 hours anyways.

Least its 2 hours more sleep than yesterday. Oh and of course this is another Nightly Dribble, I wonder if I should make a folder for these.

Despite any piece of decline I taste, this place is a safeguard to maintain.

Some have said it's my lifestyle I go through.
Others have told me it's the drugs I've sought for as I withdrew.
Deep within my soul I know the real reason is more than overdue.
Prayers to God, like wishes never to be told out of the blue.
Most might just laugh in disbelief, but I do my best to stay true.

Even if in the worst of times I no longer care,
Neither wish to believe or hold regard to it; I at least continue at this pace.
I at best have known of and seen of, my spirituality's face.
It fogs up the reflections around me and warms this private space.
Hope and faith becoming enough, compared to any vice.
